Meet Brian power

Brian Power

Hi, I’m Brian Power, creator of Power Fund. Originally from the Bay Area but raised in SW Washington, I’ve lived in Seattle for 25 years. I was a part owner of a physical therapy business until retiring from clinical practice in late 2024.

I became part of the rugby community about six years ago as I consulted with the professional team (Seawolves) and was the PT for the Division I club (Seattle Rugby Club). Having the opportunity and resources to start this fund gave me the ability to give back to the communities that gave me the opportunity to be successful and rugby just felt natural.

It is the sport that connects with community so seamlessly in that the game is what people see but it is so much about “the stuff people don’t see” (TSPDS). My hope is that people like you, by reading this and being on this page, see what rugby is about when game isn’t being played - taking care of people, putting your community first. Welcome!
